CRACKER BAG - GLENDYN IVIN (2003)

Cracker Bag comes from Australian director Glendyn Ivin and won the Palme d'Or at Cannes. Cracker Bag is a drama that takes us into the world of 10-year old girl, Eddie, as she obsessively saves her pocket money to buy fireworks for cracker night (5th November - Guy Fawkes night in UK). However, the event does not go as planned. It is set in 1980 and inspired by Ivin's own childhood - before cracker night was outlawed in Australia. Ivin has gone on to work as a director for Australian television. If you like Cracker Bag by Glendyn Ivin, rate it and share it.
